2018 PK1 Conference
We want to thank the over 700 of you who made our 35th annual conference the amazing experience it was. We left feeling uplifted and rejuvenated and we hope you did, too! It was wonderful to see so many of you there. We hope you’re planning to join us in 2018!
In the mean time, please don’t be a stranger! Come join us on Facebook, and get the latest Tuesday Teaching Tips, news about professional development workshops and much more!
Interested in presenting?
We are now accepting presentation applications for the 2018 PK1 Conference. One emphasis that we would like to see addressed this coming year is “STREAM” (Science, Technology, “Reading”, Engineering, Art & Math)! Research on this topic would also be welcome; preference is always given to proposals by “practitioners”, those in the ECE classroom.
If you are interested in presenting please click here to reach our online application. The steps are as follows… 1. Create an account and password. (If you’ve already created an account and can’t remember the password, email the CKA office and we will send you a password reset link.) 2. Create a contact then hit submit. 3. Click on the Presentation Submission tab and follow the directions.
We are always interested in new faces and ideas! Along with play, we are also interested in areas related to Common Core Standards, Early Language Learning and critical thinking skills. The application deadline is Saturday, May 26th.
